Psychology of color in the nursery

How to choose a color for a child's room?

British scientists and psychologists say that human thinking is directly related with the development of visual perception: the thinner this perception is, the more colors the human eye distinguishes, the more perfect the human brain is.

Psychologists advise to surround the baby of first two years of life only with soft unsaturated colors; when he/she grows up, the brattery, on the contrary, may well be the most vivid, colorful and fun room in the house.

Kid's room should be soft and comfortable, in calm, soothing tones. For example, it may be a combination of warm shades of blue in combination with pastel yellow, which create a sense of security and comfort. Children's furniture, painted in such color combinations can make the room happy and cheerful. In such circumstances, the baby can fully play, learn and entertain.

Psychologists believe that starting with the fourth year of life, a baby begins to prefer contrasting colors and cheerful - pure yellow, red, blue. At this time in the design of brattery it is very important to use pure tones, because such paints create such sunny and moving atmosphere in the children's bedroom and playroom.

Undesirable for brattery are dark shades of spectral colors, because the closer to the black the shade of a color is, the more depressing effect it has on people. Bright shades of the same, on the contrary, cause positive emotions, consistent development, youth and power. Scientists have found that a good, upbeat mood can be created by using ivory color - light with a golden hue and soft blue color of the walls normalizes blood pressure and improves the general condition.
